Absences - Student

Student Absences

Government regulations require that once children are enrolled at school that they attend school every day except if they are sick.

If your child is absent for any reason, absences need to be explained.

You can report an absence  including the explanation

  • on the absence quick link, on the front page of the website
  •  email -school absences is dl.0305.admin@schools.sa.edu.au
  • call the front office 82694622

If you are a parent of a new reception child and your child is very tired,  keeping them home if they are tired is a very sensible thing to do.

Holiday Absences

If your child will be absent from school for a family holiday or a period of time for more than 3 days, you are asked to apply for an exemption from school.
