Principal's Welcome

It has been my privilege to have been the principal of Nailsworth Primary School for the past 7 years.

Every day, students at NPS have brought a smile to my face. Their unsolicited greetings, willingness to tell you about their day or their learning and general happiness to be at school is a positive feature of the school.

As a staff, we are working on embedding research-based practises into the teaching and learning programmes.  We are proud of the improved student learning outcomes that have been achieved as a result of our shared endeavours.   This is a testament to each staffs commitment and professionalism.

We appreciate the many parents who volunteer in the school.  From governance to fundraising, to coaching sporting teams and helping in classrooms this has been valued. Without such support, our school would not be a positive learning environment that it is today.

Sharron Ward, Principal
