Enrolment Protocols

Enrolments are now open for 2026/2027

As a zoned school, we provide priority enrolment for families living in our catchment area. If you are interested in enrolling your child at Nailsworth Primary School, please ensure you click the link below to complete the Nailsworth Primary School Expression of Interest Form. Once the information provided on this form has been considered by our enrolment team, we will be in contact with you regarding enrolment and next steps.

Please note: Department for Education schools offer two starting dates for Reception children – the beginning of Term 1 and the beginning of Term 3.

If your child turns five years old before 1st May, are eligible to start Reception on the first day of Term 1 that year. Students who enrol in the Term 1 intake will complete 4 terms of Reception.

If your child turns five between 1st May and 31st October, they are eligible to start school in either Term 3 of the same year OR Term 1 of the following year. Students who enrol in the Term 3 intake will complete 6 terms of Reception.

PROCESS TO ENROL:

To complete an Enrolment Request Form (link below) the following documents need to be uploaded.

Proof of child’s age

• Birth Certificate or passport

Starting school calculator

If you own your home:

• copy of contract of sale for the property or recent council rates notice
• a recent gas or electricity bill for that property.

If you rent your home:

• rental agreement. The rental agreement should cover at least the first 12 months of your child attending the school (i.e. the 2026 school year), and
• bond receipt lodged with Consumer and Business Services showing the current place of residence
• a recent gas or electricity bill for that property.

If you hold:

• a copy of your Citizenship Papers (if relevant).
• A copy of your Court Orders
