Netball 

Nailsworth Primary School has a number of netball teams which compete in the EDNA Eastern District Netball Association. In Summer (Terms 1 & 4), games are played on Friday nights from 5:00pm. In Winter (Terms 2 & 3), games are played on Saturday mornings from 10:00am. 

Participation is from 7 years of age and teams are mixed gender. There is a minimum number of 8 students per team, and a coach is required before a team can be registered. 

Locations: Lothian Ave (Holden Hill), Phillis St (Maylands) or Emery Road (Campbelltown)  

2022 Cost: $55 per season.

Uniform: Loan of NPS A-line dress supplied by the school. Own purchase of black sports pants, white ankle socks and sandshoes.

If your child is interested in playing netball for NPS, please complete and return a signed copy of the Expression of Interest Form (due before mid-March).  

If you are interested in coaching a team, there are a number of volunteer and coaching requirements (funded by NPS): 

  • Netball Australia online Foundation Coach Course 
  • HLT012 First Aid Course 
  • NPS Volunteer application
  • RRHAN:EC mandatory notification training

Soccer 

Nailsworth Primary School has a number of soccer teams which compete in the NWJSA North-West Junior Soccer Association. Games are played in Terms 2 & 3 on Saturday mornings from 8:30am.

Participation is from 6 years of age and teams are mixed gender. There is a minimum number of students required to fill a team, ranging from 6-11 students depending on the age group. A coach is also required before a team can be registered. 

Locations: St. Clair Oval (Woodville), Trust Reserve (Semaphore Park) or Jubilee Park (West Lakes Shore)

2022 Cost: $55 per season. 

Uniform: Loan of NPS soccer jersey supplied by the school. Own purchase of royal blue shorts, long soccer sports socks, shin guards and soccer boots.
