What an amazing Sports Day we had at Nailsworth Primary School! Balfour House kicked things off with an incredible House March, setting the stage for an exciting day.

The sprint finals were a thrilling highlight of the day, with many races coming down to the wire and even requiring video replays to determine the placings! The noise and energy coming from the stands throughout the day was palpable, and a testament to the pride and passion our students have for their house teams. The perfect weather added to the fantastic atmosphere, making the day even more memorable. A huge thank you to all the parents who volunteered to referee and help facilitate the tabloid events – your involvement was invaluable and helped create lasting memories for all of the children involved.

A big congratulations to Thomas House, our dual winners on the day, taking home both the Spirit Award and the House Champion

Award! I’d also like to recognise the staff for their hard work behind the scenes. A special shoutout to Ash for choreographing the Health

Hustle, the House Leaders for their efforts in practice sessions, and the staff and parents who helped set up the event early. Big thanks to

the Parent Volunteer Group for organising the sausage sizzles, Zooper Doopers, and face painting, which added an extra layer of fun for

everyone. It truly was a team effort, and we can’t wait to do it all again next year!
